ActionAid Hellas (AAH) is searching for a Volunteer Project Management Officer, to join a global movement of committed individuals working to further human rights and defeat poverty.
We are an independent, international organization that has been working since 1972 with over 15 million people in 45 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice.
Requirements
We are currently recruiting a dynamic professional with an academic degree in Social Studies, Humanitarian or other related field and at least two (2) years of working experience in volunteering management, to organize and execute all activities related to EU Aid Volunteer Programmes. We are looking for candidates with strong project management skills, excellent use of the Greek and the English, (Knowledge of Spanish, French will be considered as an asset), creative thinking, and ability to work under strict deadlines. Availability for frequent travel abroad is also essential
The Volunteer Project Management Officer will:
- Support EU programmes related to capacity building and technical assistance activities (ie consortium trainings, meetings & field visits)
- Safeguard that the execution of all related activities is in line with EU standards, policies and practices and propose recommendations for further improvements
- Execute the recruitment process of volunteers, according to EU specifications
- Organise the logistics related to deployment process once engaged, during deployment and after completion (induction, trainings, flight reservations etc)
- Organize dissemination events as well as produce related communication material
